Hayle Film Club - our Next Screening will be on Saturday, 9 November, at 7.30pm, the French-language hit "In the House" (rated 15), directed by Francois Ozon and starring Kristin Scott Thomas. upstairs in the Passmore Edwards Institute, Hayle Terrace.
Ken Loach's excellent documentary "The Spirit of '45" (rated U, for a general audience) thrusts viewers back in time to the immediate post-war years, when Britain's workforce came together to rebuild the country and form a united front under the Labour movement.

Flight (PG) | Hayle Film Club
Hayle Film Club - our Next Screening will be on Saturday, 12 October at 7:30pm upstairs in the Passmore Edwards Institute, Hayle Terrace.
Hayle Film Club is to screen three films in October and November On Saturday, 12 October, the Hayle Film Club will present the Denzel Washington thriller "Flight" at 7.30pm, upstairs in the Passmore Edwards Institute. Washington was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar earlier this year for his role as an airline captain who convincingly straddles the line between strutting indulger and ugly, unrepentant drunk. Rated 15. Please be aware that "Flight" includes a sustained scene of a plane crash as well as excessive drinking, drug use and adult language.
