Hobby Afternoon 23 May - Angarrack Community Centre
Angarrack's fortnightly hobby afternoon takes place today between 2pm and 4.30pm at the Angarrack Community Centre.
Come along and bring something that you enjoy doing or just come along for a chat and a cup of tea!
Admission is £2. All welcome.
The Duck Races! 4pm Saturday 25th May 2013
The village of Angarrack is holding its Spring Duck Races at 4pm on Saturday 25th May (weather permitting!) at the viaduct on Riverside in Angarrack. This is to help raise money for the famous Angarrack Christmas Lights.
There will be a number of races including ones especially for children as well as the main event for Champion Duck Racer!
Whilst not racing why not try the Bottle Stall, buy a raffle ticket and tuck in to the BBQ and delicious crepes!

Fortnightly Gardening Waste Collection | 06 June
This week is refuse and Garden Waste Collection.
NB Garden Waste is now an additional cost and the compost is still not freely available.
Garden waste
Garden waste must not be included with your general rubbish. You can compost it yourself at home, we have a special offer for residents, please see the following site for more information Cornwall Get Composting website. You can also take garden waste to any of our 13 household waste and recycling centres or you can use our garden waste collection service.
Garden Waste Collection Service
Garden waste collections are fortnightly. To receive the service you will need to buy a pre-paid permit and one of our brown wheeled bins or a reusable sack. Information on how to do this is below. We have also set up a list of frequently asked questions about garden waste to help you.

When you subscribe to this service you can check when your garden waste collection is due by visiting the My Area page using the link on the right and entering your postcode when prompted.

It's free to join the Mobile Library, and there is no fine if you are overdue with your books.
There is a lift for easier access.
